Accuracy first
Every conversion factor, formula, tax rate and health threshold on the site is taken from a primary source and named on the page where it is used. We prefer standards bodies and official sources over secondary websites: NIST and the BIPM for units; HMRC, the Belastingdienst, the CRA and US state tax authorities for tax; the NHS, CDC, WHO and NICE for health; and peer-reviewed research for formulas such as Mifflin-St Jeor.
Expert review
All guides, calculators and blog posts are reviewed by Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khadim, PhD Mathematics, before publication. Each page shows who wrote or reviewed it and when it was last updated.
Testing calculators
Each calculator is tested with worked examples whose answers are calculated independently. We publish those examples on the page so readers can check them too.
Guest articles
Guest authors must show relevant expertise and submit original work. We check every number and claim, may edit for clarity and accuracy, and label the article as a guest post. Links in guest content use rel="nofollow ugc". Sponsored content, if accepted, is clearly labelled and its links use rel="sponsored". See Write for us.
Use of AI tools
We may use software tools, including AI, to help with research, drafting or checking code. A human expert reviews and takes responsibility for everything we publish, and every factual claim is checked against a source.
Health and money content
Health and financial calculators give general information and estimates, not personal advice. They state their assumptions and limitations, and point readers to a doctor, pharmacist, lender or tax adviser for decisions that matter.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and update the page's "updated" date. Significant corrections are noted on the page. Please report errors through our contact page.
Independence
Our tools and rankings are not influenced by advertisers or sponsors. If the site carries advertising in future, it will be clearly separated from content.
