Topics we want
- Unit conversion and measurement
- Calculators and everyday maths
- Personal finance maths (loans, mortgages, savings, tax)
- Maths education and study skills
- Statistics and data literacy
- Health and fitness numbers (BMI, calories, body measurements)
- Science and engineering calculations
The best pitches solve a specific problem ("How to calculate VAT on a mixed-rate invoice in the Netherlands") rather than a broad one ("All about taxes"). Worked examples, tables and real-world mistakes you have seen are especially welcome.
Editorial guidelines
- Show your expertise. Tell us why you are qualified: your degree, profession or hands-on experience. Write from that experience.
- Be accurate. Every formula, figure and rate must be correct and checkable. Cite primary sources such as NIST, the NHS, HMRC, the IRS, the CRA, the Belastingdienst, official statistics or peer-reviewed research.
- Be original. No copied, spun or previously published content. We check every submission.
- AI tools: you may use them for research or editing, but you are responsible for every word. Tell us how you used them. Unedited AI-generated articles are declined.
- Write plainly. Short sentences, clear headings, worked examples. Use US or UK spelling consistently.
- Format: paste plain text or Markdown, or share a Google Doc with comment access. Use ## for headings and include any tables as text.
Link policy
Links in guest posts and author bios use rel="nofollow ugc", as Google's spam policies require for guest content.
You may include one link to your own website or profile in your author bio, and links in the article to sources that genuinely help the reader. We remove links to unrelated commercial pages and never accept payment for "dofollow" links. Paid placements, if we accept them, are clearly labelled as sponsored and their links use rel="sponsored".
What we do not publish
- Gambling, betting, casinos, adult content, CBD or cannabis, weapons, payday or high-cost loans, or crypto investment promotion
- Articles written mainly to place a link, or that promote a product without helping the reader
- Medical, legal or financial advice presented as personal advice. General educational content is welcome, with sources
- Content published elsewhere, including on your own blog
